November 26 2008 at approx 2:10pm eastern time Pluto enters Capricorn and will journey through the land of the mountain and goats and won’t completely leave until November 2024. A generation of children will be born on the planet that will resonate with the understanding that corruption in business and that government that does not have the will and the good of the people at its core will destroy or be destroyed. For those of us who are adults will see first hand what happens when Pluto moves through Capricorn. Large businesses that have been around for decades will collapse; accountability of the financial sector will be demanded; governments will collapse and be restructured. The collapse and difficulties of the mortgage industry, the banking industry has already been revealed. The United States is seeing a presidential race unlike any before. The restructuring of our country and many others around the world will happen over the next 16 years. For many people fortunes that have taken a life time to accumulate will be lost, and for others who have changed their conception of how wealth is created, and who are not that connected to the old way of doing things they will cruise through the next 16 years as a witness of events while merrily living their lives unscathed. So the question becomes how can you go through what are deemed to be uncertain and interesting times without suffering, indeed how can you move through these times and live happily? The answer lies in honoring what Pluto in Capricorn is asking and staying true to your life path. Pluto in Capricorn demands accountability in systems and structures, Capricorn is tradition, yet when tradition is worn out and no longer serves a purpose it must transform. Capricorn is working hard and you will be rewarded, yet many citizens that have worked all their lives will have their retirement savings dwindled or wiped out. The principals of Capricorn, hard work equals great reward will be challenged during this time, If all of life is an illusion then the belief, if I work hard then I will be OK becomes an illusion. The people who held that as a belief can feel crushed. It is not that it isn’t true and it is not that it is true, the illusion of our beliefs are challenged as we travel towards our spiritual growth and enlightenment. As Pluto moves through Capricorn this is one of the beliefs that is being challenged. So if hard work doesn’t keep us safe what does? Reputations will crumble while Pluto moves through Capricorn, Capricorn teaches us to protect our reputation, teenagers today with indiscriminate postings on MySpace will face the price of loss of reputation years later. And conversely what was once considered “disgraceful” and cause for lass of respect will be more commonly accepted.
There are two significant astrological events going on that are symbolic of the collapse of established banking and business institutions and the overall financial crises: Pluto in Capricorn and Saturn opposite Uranus. Pluto in Capricorn symbolizes the destruction and transformation of old respected companies, and the total reconstruction of governments. Uranus and Saturn symbolize polarization between the old way and new unpredictable ideas. Some of the vibration is extremely fear based. Saturn is a planet that can indicate fear and scarcity; it is an old school vibration. Uranus is the planet of unpredictable changes and breaking away from tradition. These two planets are aligning opposite each other, in this position they are opponents, who will win? Will it be fear and the old ways or innovation and finding a new path?
The financial crises and bailout is only the tip of the iceberg of the problems the USA will be facing over the next several years. The charts of the US are indicating that there have been many secrets in the banking industry (and secrets regarding USA finances) and everything has not been exposed. The tides will turn even scarier for many people over the next few months.
So what to do? Honor the principles of Saturn and Uranus. How can you work harder and be more productive in your life? What can you eliminate that you are not using? Being conscious of the resources we have is the first step. The right use of Saturn is using what you have and if you aren't using something donate it. Do not hold onto possessions because you are afraid to let it go, fearing that you might need it for some obscure reason years down the road. Chances are it will only collect dust and clutter up you home. Read the books you already bought before you run to buy more. Use up the food in your cabinets; wear the clothes in your closet or move everything out so others are able to enjoy what you no longer need. Uranus wants you to invent new ways of living. Do things different, think different, if you are not making enough money for the life you want, do something different. If you are not happy in your relationships, try something different. Break up your old patterns of thinking to allow for major shifts in your life. Honoring these principles individually we will be able to create a healthy and balanced vibration around ourselves and be able to counteract the fear vibration in the world. Honor Pluto in Capricorn by overthrowing your own inner authority that is no longer supportive or healthy for you. What voice in your mind is telling you that you should do something? Examine the "shoulds" in your life. Who is telling you that you should? Is it an old outdated program instilled to motivate you through guilt or shame? What old structure in your life can be revamped? Are your skills outdated? Are you hanging onto old true and blue stocks whose companies can keep pace with the times? Find your inner source of respect and security not contingent upon outside validation.
The moon in your chart represents your emotional needs. If you do not understand your moons needs your moon will run the show, how do you know if your moon is unrealized or not adequately given its due? Your emotions will be out of whack, you will feel angry or depressed; you might feel overwhelmed, hurt, or frustrated. Your relationships in your life will be lacking or problematic. Some people view life as a competition and with many astrological charts the planet Venus and the planet Mars are at times in competition with each other. What does that mean? How would you know? If you have conflicts in your personal relationships then you know that your Venus and Mars are at odds. Venus wants pleasure, what type of pleasure she wants is found in the sign she was in when you were born. Mars wants to take action and win, the sign that Mars is in when you were born will show you where in your life that competing and winning is important. How do you bring into balance being able to have loving relationships in your life and not give up core essential parts of your needs and wants? Step 1) Center your being in a calm and relaxed method, take a few moments out of your day to sit quietly with no distractions; breathe deep and find your inner center.2.) Ask the side of your personality that is wanting to protect you, wanting to fight or argue, to step forward from within, notice where in your body that part resides, it may be in your stomach, your throat, wherever you get a sense is right, imagine that part and put a form to it, perhaps it is a cartoon character, perhaps an object, an animal or a miniature you, whatever form develops is right, when you have the form give thanks for the appearance and ask if it has a name, thank it for the response. Mars how it is trying to help you through being defensive? What is it that Mars needs in order to feel safe that you will not be taken advantage of and be lost? Acknowledge what the need is and ask if you satisfy that need will mars be willing to step back and trust? When you give your subconscious a safe place to appear and tell you what it is doing you become aware of your inner mechanisms. Once you get an answer to what is the positive intention of negative behavior you are on your way to being free to choose something different. The next time you are at odds with yourself or with another person find a space to do this short but powerful exercise and get in touch why you may be acting or having difficult situations.
Happy July 4th The USA Solar Return Chart
Each year when we celebrate a birthday in astrology we call that time the solar return. The solar return is when the sun returns to the same location it was the day you were born. A chart is cast for that moment and from that chart we can sneak a look at what is in store for the year ahead.
Astrologers read symbols in the charts and ascertain how that is applicable in an individuals life or in this case for the USA. In the solar return chart for 2009 there are several symbols that show the financial struggle in the economy but an overall protection of the people. This is seen by Jupiter, the planet of protection, connected to the Moon in the USA chart. The Moon is symbolic of the people, hence protection of the people. However there is also another planet with the Moon, Neptune and one of the interpretations involving Neptune is that which is being hid or deception. There is something going on behind in the government that is being kept from the public eye and awareness.
One of the strongest symbols is with Mercury, who represents youth and knowledge. Mercury is opposite Pluto. Pluto is the lord of the underworld and is the sign of death and rebirth. The rebirth in the country will come through the youth and new knowledge. The old way of thinking must die and the new ideas will take the place of the old to resurrect and reconstruct. Mercury/Pluto opposition is also connected to Venus in the USA chart. Pluto Venus demands change in values, this influence has been in effect since September 2008 when Pluto went direct in Capricorn. Our values (and pocketbooks) will be further challenged.
The Moon will be in Sagittarius on July 4th, opposite the natal Mars in the USA chart. Anger about or from foreign countries will be a theme. In addition there will be fighting over educational systems, who is right (about many topics) and arguments stemming from long held opinions and beliefs. Pluto has been in Capricorn for only a short time of its trek through the constellation Capricorn; this journey challenges institutions, governments, and established businesses that have not adapted to the current needs of humanity.
The greatest growth is coming from the expansion in the multi media technology arena. Although housing has taken a terrific beating the chart is indicating the recovery will be on its way. There is a preparation for new technological inventions that will further advance our modern world.

Understanding Venus and Mars will help you in having a happy romantic love relationship. If you are having problems in your romantic relationship there can be several factors to look for in your astrology chart.
Venus is the planet that represents what we love and value, and Mars is the energy that helps us go out in the world to bring back what we want.
If your Venus and Mars are in signs that are not compatible with each other then you must become resourceful in meeting your needs. Mars might be more interested in helping out another one of your planets, say your career planet, so you may get what you need around your work but not around romance.
The same is true for the person you are in a relationship with. If their planets Venus and Mars are in conflict, then they will naturally attract into their lives relationships that bring conflict. Even if you have no desire to play into their issues it will happen.
Resolution happens through self awareness and insight. Knowing that there is an intrinsic problem that will attract conflict in relationships you can consciously become aware of how you might be contributing to heart ache.
